Fiona Phelan Art Teacher
Fiona first studied fashion design at the Barbra Bourke college of Fashion Design in Dublin. Fiona designed and made bridal and debs dresses, also during this time she studied florestry . Fiona designed wedding bouquets and church flowers to complement her bridal design business.
Fiona moved to Dublin in the 1990s and went back to collage to study Interior Architecture at DIT Dublin.
She went on to run an Interior Architectural practice in Terenure.
During time out to raise her children Fiona qualified as an Educational Kinesiology Brain Gym Consultant. She also studied behavioral psychology. Fiona worked with children with learning difficulties setting up reading and movement programs.
Fiona has drawn and painted all of her life, art and design have always been her first loves. With her teaching and design experience she decided to marry her two talents together and set up Fiona’s Art Class.
Fiona believes the every child can learn to draw. Drawing can be taught just the same as children can be taught how to write.

Darragh Phelan Teachers Assistant
Darragh is Fiona’s son.
Darragh is a very talented artist he could draw before he could write. Darragh is currently studying for a BA in Fine Art and Education which is a Joint Honours award from the National College of Art &Design.
Darragh is very involved with scouts and is training to be a scout leader with 37th St Pius X Dublin Scout Group where he has been a member since primary school. Darragh was one of a group of Irish scouts to represent their country in Japan at the world Jamboree.
